Vikas Garg, MD, MSA

Vikas Garg, MD, MSA is a double-boarded physician who completed his fellowship in pain management at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA, recognized as one of the best programs in the country. He later moved to Utah to provide this much-needed specialty in the valley and surrounding area. After completing medical school, Dr. Garg attended the University of Michigan, MI, where he obtained a master’s in health care administration with a focus on health policy and administration. He completed residency training in Anesthesiology at the Medical University of Ohio in Toledo, OH, and in Family Practice in Erie, PA.

Dr. Garg is very active in pain societies at the local, national, and international level and has written articles for the curricula of the International Spine Society. He is also active in research and has published articles on low back pain. In addition, he has edited a number of articles on pain management for online health-related websites.

He is a member of the American Academy of Pain Medicine and the International Spine Interventional Society. Dr. Garg looks forward to evaluating and treating all chronic pain conditions and is well versed in procedures including epidural injections and facet joint injections in the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar regions.

Dr. Garg believes in compassionate care and in performing procedures that are most likely to benefit the patient.
