Japanese rice balls are also known as onigiri or omusubi, they can be shaped as triangles or rounds with your own hands and you can mix them with all your favorite ingredients to create unique flavors easily!

This recipe is perfect for on-the-go because you can eat it with your hands  and it doesn’t need to be heat. We also love this recipe because you can adapt it to leftover ingredients.   • sushi, or short-grain, rice
  • thawed frozen vegetables
  • sesame seeds


  1. Make rice according to package directions.
  2. Mix cooked rice together with other ingredients.
  3. Shape into balls.

Dip in soy sauce. Yummy!
